From the search for the North West Passage to the present day, the exhibition '200 Years of Polar Exploration' charts Polar expeditions from 1819 to the modern era. From Sir Edward Sabine and Sir John Franklin; through Robert Falcon Scott, Sir Earnest Shackleton and Frank Wild; and on to Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Henry Worsley, this exhibition forms the largest collection of Polar awards ever assembled, supported by diaries, ephemera and other artefacts and taking in the leading figures in this hazardous field.

Explorer and Polar historian Roan Hackney, F.R.G.S., together with co-curator, Marcus Budgen of Spink, have put this exhibition together in collaboration with and for the benefit of the Endeavour Fund, established in memory of Henry Worsley. The Fund supports exciting and fulfilling opportunities for armed forces personnel and veterans experiencing injury or sickness during service. All associated are proud to be able to support such a worthy cause and we actively encourage everyone to join us. All proceeds raised from the sale of this book will be donated to the Endeavour Fund. Thank you for your support.
